Fritz Schimpf Italic Delight 149 LE100 Fountain Pen

The German retailer Frtiz Schimpf have previously released a very small number of special collaborations with Montblanc and this 'Italic Delight' celebrates the retailers 145th anniversary. The star of the show is the wonderful italic nib, with a vertical line width of approx. 0.65mm and a horizontal width of 0.25mm. In terms of stroke width it's a medium. It's also possible to use the nib upside down, which creates a stroke width of 0.22mm. The left nib shoulder is engraved with 'Italic Delight', with the right being engraved with 'Fritz Schimpf'. The pen is crafted from black resin, with the trim being red gold-coated.
