Cap The Au750 solid gold skeleton body and the pattern on the cap and cone are inspired by the facade of the Louvre. The skeleton cap and the sapphire in pyramid cut in the clip (~0,98 ct.) are reminiscent of the roof of the glass pyramid in the Louvre yard.
Cap Top Cap top set with Montblanc Diamond (~1,01 ct.).
Clip To represent the symbol of the museum a Sapphire in pyramid cut is set on the clip (~0,98 ct.).
Overall Design As an homage to one of the largest art museums in the world the design is inspired by elements from the facade and the symbol of the Louvre: the pyramid. The writing instrument is enriched with diamonds: 217 on the mechanic (~0,98 ct.), 28 on the cap top (~0,196 ct.), 67 on the cap (~0,3 ct.), 39 on the cone (~0,175 ct.). The barrel is set with 10 diamonds in triangle cut (~0,25 ct.) and 105 diamonds in princess cut (~1,6 ct.).
Cone The cone set with approx. 39 diamonds à 1.00 mm (~0,175 ct.).
Nib The Au750 solid gold nib is decorated with ornaments from the Louvre's facade.
Limitation This creation is limited to just one piece world-wide, making it one-of-a-kind.
