| Cap Top | The cap top is set with a rough Rock crystal in the shape of the Mont Blanc massive (~7,03 ct.). The decoration on the shield on the cap is inspired by the Punic cuirass. The fittings are made of Au750 solid signature gold. |
| Clip | The cap top and clip are shaped like an elephant trunk and set with individually cut diamonds on the head and two cognac color diamond in marquise cut in the eyes. |
| Overall Design | The overall design and shape is inspired by the major events of the second Punic war, where Hannibal crossed the Alps with elephant in 218 BC. The cap and barrel are encased with round facetted and square cut sapphires (~19,1 ct.). The decoration on the forepart shows Hannibal’s route of conquering from Carthage to Rom. The inlay is modeled from mammoth ivory and decorated with a pattern. |
| Cone | The cone is set with a diamond in brilliant cut (~1,82 - 1,88 ct.) and decorated with a hand engraved mammoth ivory inlay. The decoration on the cone ring is inspired by the armor of Hannibal’s army. |
| Nib | The decoration of the Au750 solid signature gold nib is inspired by the Baal Hammon, the chief god of Carthage, who was engraved on the punic cuirass. The nib is adorned with 1mm blue sapphires. |
