Cap The design of the cap is influenced by the impression of the distance and the perspectives used in many of his paintings. The cap is made of coloured stripe agate - a genuine stone in brownish colour which makes each pen distinctive due to the natural pattern.
Cap Top The emblem is made of mother-of-pearl.
Clip The clip is made of Au750 solid champagne-tone gold.
Overall Design The design is inspired by his landscape paintings. The barrel with precious lacquer inlays is referring to the gothic style of the late medieval times. The writing instrument is made of Au750 solid gold.
Cone The cone is made of Au750 solid champagne-tone gold.
Nib The rhodium-coated Au750 solid gold nib is enriched by a scene from the painting Wanderer aboce the sea of fog - which is Friedrich's most famous painting.
