The creation is made of blue precious lacquer inspired by the Bavarian flag. The white precious lacquer with guilloché engraving is inspired by swan feathers. The cap ring is set with a Cubic Zirkonia red and engraved with 'WWV75' - the reference code of the opera Lohengrin. The signature gold coated crown on the cap top symbolizes a detail of the monarch's royal seal. The emblem is made of precious resin. The shape of the clip reminds of his nickname 'Swan King'. The shape of the cone is inspired by the towers adorning Schloss Neuschwanstein’s front door. The engraving on the cone is inspired by the seal of Ludwig II. The Au750 solid gold nib is enriched with a fine engraving of Schloss Neuschwanstein.
