Cap The inscription on the cap ring 'Raphael Urbinas' shows his signature, which he used only in some of his paintings. The cap top is crowned with a diamond (~1 ct.).
Cap Top The emblem in Montblanc Diamond (~1 ct).
Clip The clip is enriched with a Tsavorite in baguette cut (~1,3 ct.).
Overall Design The design is mainly inspired by the typical ornaments of the renaissance which reflects filigree hand work and craftsmanship. The bright red cap and barrel made of Ag925 sterling silver (hallmarked on the cone) with enamel, overlaid with a filigree, hand engraved solid gold pattern. The bright red colour of the enamel reflects an important renaissance colour. The flower decoration on the cap and barrel rings are bejewelled with 274 diamonds in brilliant cut (~0,8 ct.). The skeleton fountain pen is made of Au750 solid gold.
Cone The cone is enriched with 38 diamonds in brilliant cut (~0,19 ct.)
Nib The Au750 solid gold nib is representing the famous angel of Raffaello Sanzio.
Limitation The limitation is based on the year he was born (1483).
