| Overall Design | The shape is inspired by a bamboo forest, a reference to what Marco Polo described through his travel in southern Tibet. The design of the Au750 solid signature gold barrel represents Marco Polo crossing the desert, taken from The Catalan Atlas map. The barrel made of mulberry wood is the link to the silkworn and the silk road. The gold intarsia represent the trip of Marco Polo: 28 steps to Quanzhou, 10 steps back to Venice.
