Cap The Au750 solid gold skeleton body, the pattern on cap and cone are inspired by the facade of the Louvre. The cap and the hematite in pyramid cut on the clip remind of the glass roof of the Louvre yard.
Cap Top The emblem is made of mother-of-pearl.
Clip To represent the symbol of the museum a hematite in pyramid cut is set on the clip.
Overall Design As an homage to one of the largest art museums in the world the design is inspired by elements from the facade and the symbol of the Louvre: the pyramid. The writing instrument is enriched with diamonds: 28 on the cap top (~0,196 ct.), 67 on the cap (~0,3 ct.), 39 on the cone (~ 0,175 ct.). The barrel is set with 10 diamonds in triangle cut (~0,25 ct.) and 105 diamonds in princess cut (~1,6 ct.).
Cone The cone is made of Au750 solid gold, set with 39 diamonds (~0,175 ct.).
Nib The Au750 solid gold nib is decorated with ornaments from the Louvre's facade.
Limitation The limitation of 20 pieces pays tribute to its 20th anniversary.
