Cap The rings on the cap are set with 344 diamonds (~0,959 ct.). The cap ring is finely engraved with the words 'Julliard School, 100 years'.
Cap Top The emblem is made of mother-of-pearl.
Clip The clip in the shape of the 'J' is set with a diamond (~0,03 ct.).
Overall Design The rings on the barrel are decorated with 324 diamonds (~0,9 ct.). The rings are symbolising the lines of a music staff.
Cone The cone is made of Au750 solid white gold.
Nib The rhodium-coated Au750 gold nib is decorated with the portrait of Augustus D. Julliard.
Limitation The 8 is known as lucky number. In addition it reflects the regular pattern written in the nib atelier with every nib before it is released.
