Product features
| Cap | The cap and cone are skillfully skeletonized to reveal myriad views into the inner parts of the fountain pen. |
| Cap Top | The cap top is inspired by undulating forms, so that the crowning emblem made of mother-of-pearl follows the asymmetric curving of the cap top. |
| Clip | One of Moore’s visual trademarks is a melting of abstract organic forms with elements of the human body, thus the clip, which is milled out of solid gold, bears a visible reference to the small though significant work Reclining figure: snake. |
| Overall Design | Henry Moore pioneered the use of holes in sculptures as well as adding a second inner form in relation to a larger form which dominates the design of this edition. The natural state of the material he used also had a great influence on his artistic inspiration, thus the surface is treated gently roughened. The skillfully skeletonized Au750 signature gold cap and body allow the look in the inside of the writing instrument through ‘holes’. The underlay is made of dark brown precious resin. |
| Cone | The cone is made of Au750 solid signature gold. |
| Nib | The Au750 solid gold nib is enriched with a fine engraving of a pair of hands inspired by the illustrations Moore made of hands. |
| Limitation | Limited to 88 pieces in reference to his age when he died. |
